B2B commerce
Commerce for business buyers: account-specific pricing, approvals, reordering, PunchOut, and inventory visibility.
B2B commerce handles complexity B2C doesn't: account-specific and contract pricing, custom catalogues, bulk and fast reordering, multi-level approval workflows, budgets, real-time inventory visibility, and self-service. A defining capability is PunchOut — a catalogue integration (cXML/OCI) letting a buyer shop the supplier's storefront from inside their own procurement system (SAP Ariba, Coupa) and return the cart for internal approval. Orium's SiteOne work is a real B2B example.
"B2B is just B2C with a login."
"B2B commerce is contract pricing, approval workflows, and reordering as first-class features — not a B2C site with a gate."
"In B2B, the buying process is the product — pricing, approvals, and reordering are where you win."
