Headless CMS

In one line

Content management decoupled from presentation, delivering structured content to any channel via API.

Fuller explanation

A headless CMS separates content creation/storage (the body) from presentation (the head), exposing content via API so one source of truth serves web, app, social, and AI agents. Examples: Contentstack, Contentful, Amplience. It is the content counterpart to a headless commerce engine, and the two are typically paired in a composable build.

Interview phrase

"Headless CMS makes content a reusable service, not a page locked inside one website."
